Cleaning your Pickleball Paddle

If you are new to pickleball, you may ask, does my pickleball paddle need cleaning?  The ephaptic answer is yes!  All paddle types benefit from cleaning to maintain their longevity, but it is absolutely essential if you have a carbon fiber paddle or any paddle with texture.

If you have a black carbon paddle, it is clearly evident after you play that there is dirt buildup.  Paddles built for performance and spin have grit or texture.  These grooves fill up with the dirt from ball strikes which decreases the performance of your paddle.
